Matthew grew up in San Diego where he earned his undergraduate degree while playing on the UCSD baseball team. At the University of Oregon, Matthew earned a law degree and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in sports business. While enrolled in graduate school, Matthew interned in Nike’s legal department and worked on numerous projects for the University of Oregon athletic department.

Recreationally, Matthew enjoys fishing, hunting, running and exploring Southern Oregon.
